Scrapbooking is a wonderful use of your time, as you preserve your memories for your children and future family. Creating pages, telling a story and showing it all off in an album is certainly one way to do it, but wouldn't it be really cool to be able to share it with family out of state a lot faster? That's when you need your very own website.

Are you looking for a free website to show off your layouts and perhaps even get to know others? Then My Place, which is the name that scrapbook.com has given its personal site for users just like you. Scrapbook.com is already a comprehensive website that strives to fulfill the needs for scrapbookers, however My Place and it's features for a personal website and/or blog are amazing, and best of all it costs you nothing at all. It is completely free.

All you have to do is register for free at scrapbook.com and you will get your very own personal web site, which also includes everything that you could possibly need to share your memories with everyone and anyone you wish.

After you complete registration you will receive a completely customizable home page that is super easy to use, a personal web picture gallery where you can store your layouts, pictures, altered products and more. A blog where you can teach others about your love of scrapbooking, show off your latest project or just get to know others through it. You will also receive access to the forums where you can continue those friendships.

Scrapbook.com also gives you a free subscription to the scrapbook.com educational newsletter that is filled to the brim with ideas and inspiration to make scrapbooking more fun. There are daily specials and coupons available too.

If you get yourself a My Place site, be sure to drop in and send me the web address so I can come and visit you.

Nicole, I recently posted an article on my Diarydoor website on writing Photo-Inspired Poems and stories that I think would be of interest to your readers. I'm a diarist, versus a scrapbooker, (I write diaries for my three children) but I think parenting diarists and scapbookers have a lot of creative inspiration to share! www.diarydoor.typepad.com. Thanks, Kelly
