Many of the women in my scrapbooking club credit their children for inspiring them to scrapbook. Whereas I created my first scrapbook following a summer-long trip across the United States, the ladies I met through my local scrapbooking club say they would have never dreamed of designing layouts if it were not for the birth of their kids and the desire to document their baby’s milestones. A Journal Making Party (1)

Journal making is a fun and frugal way to spend time with friends and enjoy the art of scrapbooking without actually scrapbooking. As most of you know, I am the queen of journaling (and frugality really) and so of course I have to have journals scattered throughout my home. Scrapbooking the Obscure

My mind goes faster than most. I’m not exactly sure why that is, but sometimes I feel too creative, if that’s possible. Ideas and plans come pouring out of me at such a rapid rate I cannot possibly keep up. I can find solutions to almost any problem by using my creativity. Although there are times that I wish my mind would just rest.
