Long ago I discovered Stampin' Up! when I was invited to a consultants house for a party. Like anyone invited to something like that, I was sceptical, all the way until I saw the products. I was sold. The original designs of Stampin' Up! made me feel creative and they were so beautiful.

Stampin' Up! is known for its exclusive line of decorative stamp sets and accessories for greeting cards, scrapbooking, craft projects and home decor!

Founded in 1988, they have brought a wide assortment of stamp images, techniques, and designs to the crafting world, and later the scrapbooking world. The ease of using the products has helped crafters express their creativity and design amazing, one-of-a-kind projects.

You can't find Stampin' Up! products in a store. But you can attend a home workshop or contact an independent sales consultant, called a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and order anything you want directly through them. And everything is personally delivered.

Upon calling for verification, I learned that there are more than 50,000 demonstrators and every state in the United States is accounted for. They are also available in Canada.

The states that seem to have the most Stampin' Up! demonstrators are California, Minnesota, Washington, Wisconsin and Michigan.

The company operates two state-of-the-art facilities. One is a 40,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in Kanab, Utah, and the other is a 300,000-square-foot home office and distribution center in Riverton, Utah.

I had the opportunity to interview a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Kimberlee Patton, and this is what she had to say.

Nicole: Hi Kimberlee, Thank you for doing this interview with me. Can you tell us a little about the Stampin' Up! company, and how it got its start?

Kimberlee: It is located in Riverton, UT. And it started in 1988 by Shelli Gardner and her sister after being reps for different DSA companies. There are over 50000 Stampin' Up! demonstrators in the United States and Canada. This year Australia has now joined the family.

Nicole: That's so cool about Australia, they don't have a lot options when it comes to direct sales. So, what types of products can someone find in a Stampin' Up! catalog?

Kimberlee: Original, unique rubber stamps sold in sets; variety of accessories and tools to help create unique, personalized cards and scrapbooks.
