Scrapbook Kits - MAMBI So Girlyby crysdawn | More from this Blogger Christmas is over and the New Year has arrived. All the guests are gone and the house is a mess. Sounds like the perfect time to scrapbook and rejuvenate before digging in to restore everything to its proper place. I'm not usually like that, although this year somehow everything is a bit different. The project I'm going to do today is a fun one for sure! My little five year old daughter loves to scrapbook with me, along with so many other things. Her grandma (my mother) knew how much she loved scrapbooking therefore gave her an adorable kit from Me & My Big Ideas (MAMBI) called "So Girly". It is pre-printed layouts with spaces for photos - perfect for Miri! It has 16 finished pages that fit about 54 pictures on them. The layouts use the "So Girly" sticker line and MAMBI's distinctive fun and happening style. Each layout is different which gives Miri the option of how to use her pictures. There are places for cropped pictures and for full 4x6 photos. Most layouts have a title and a few have places for journaling already printed on them. She has been looking forward to this since she was given it on December 19th. She helped me go through all our digital pictures to select the pictures she wanted to include in her special book. I learned how to burn them onto a CD; I've always had someone else do that. It was a very easy learning curve and a process I'm sure to repeat soon. On our way to go grocery shopping, we dropped off our CD at the local Sam's Club for 1-hour processing. When we picked up the pictures Miri was so excited! I just put my almost 2 year old down for her nap so we can get going on our project! I expect it will take us most of 2 hours since I'll let Miri run the show.
