It takes something very special to make me get all warm and fuzzy inside when it comes to scrapbooking gadgets. My heart is saved much more for the papers and embellishments and not as much for the gadgets. Until I laid eyes on this little gem.

It looks like a narrow paper cutter, but it doesn't cut a single thing. It is the totally awesome Blooms™ by Westcott® laser ruler that is just another great addition to their growing line of tools. This is an absolutely must have scrapbooking gadget.

Not only does it come in totally cute colors and looks like a high tech tool, it will suddenly make journaling and writing much easier. In addition, the ease of placing embellishments, setting eyelets, stamping, placing photographs and other elements on a scrapbook layout has absolutely never been easier.

The new Laser Ruler™ will help take the guess work out of your projects, no pencils or erasers required, eliminating those pesky little crumbs that get caught up in your adhesive and other items.

You can use the laser line straight or set on an angle of up to 45 degrees. You can also be used together joining at right angles, giving you a vertical and a horizontal laser line. The batteries are included.

Obviously it probably has at least a dozen more uses throughout the home, but the focus for my layouts is outstanding. Gone are the days with lopsided journaling or uneven title or picture placement.

This unique gadget retails for a mere twenty dollars, however a quick Google search found me several results for much less. Shop around and add one to your scrapbook gadget collection today.
