Monday Layout Challenge: The Dollar Store

Hope your week was great and that you got plenty of layouts completed. We are back for another week, in the Monday Layout Challenge. Did you get your pet pages done last week? I did an adorable layout of my new puppy and his funny way of falling asleep after a bath when he's all wrapped in a towel.

I will try to upload it soon.

I am doing the weekly layout challenge for several reasons. One, I want you to get your photographs out of storage devices and onto your layouts, and two I want to help you brainstorm ideas, as well as use up your stash of supplies. If there is something you would like to see or something that you need to work on that I might be able to incorporate into a challenge, let me know.

So on to today's challenge:

Your challenge for today and this week is to use a found item from the dollar store. While this is similar to week one, I am challenging you to try to find something in a store instead. I want you to go to the dollar store, and browse the aisles. Stay away from any scrapbook or craft supply sections they might have. I want you to use something that is different than a normal scrapbook item. There are no limits to what you can use, and it must be purchased at the dollar store.

Examples: Jewelry, charms, magnets, hardware, sponges, toys, miniatures, etc.

I have done this challenge in the past, but I'm heading to the dollar store tonight to start working on my layout. I will post the layout in next weeks challenge.

So get started, and if you want to share ahead of time, what did you decide to use? Add your layout to the gallery if you would like, and then let me know in the comments.
