The Most Simple Scrapbook Series-Arranging Your Photos on a Page

There are so many ways to arrange the photos on the page. But, sometimes, this is part of what is the most intimidating to beginning scrappers. First, you have to decide what look you are going for. How many pictures do YOU like on a page? After all, this album is for you. You may decide that some photos are too special to share with other photos on the same page, and there might be other photos that you don’t love as much and would like to just throw in there for memory’s sake. When placing them on the page, … Continue reading

With the sunshine replacing many of the rainy days we have been having, I have been trying to enjoy the weather whenever I can. The Reasons for Scrapbooking From a Real Life Scrapbooker

In the many years that I have been scrapbooking, I have been asked more than once, my reasons for scrapbooking. Some people scrapbook because it is a creative outlet that allows them to be artistic and utilize photographs in the process. While both of these hold true for me, there is a deeper meaning for me, and I hope that my real life scrapbooking will make you reconsider your own layouts and moments that you choose … Continue reading

Hot Hotel Deals in Hawaii for 2008

If one of your resolutions for 2008 involves traveling to Hawaii you are in luck. The Outrigger hotel group just released its package deals for the upcoming year and the savings are substantial. For those of you who have never visited the Islands, Outrigger hotels are everywhere. I would describe them as moderate accommodations both price wise and for overall service. They are by no means as ritzy as the Four Seasons, but they certainly are comfortable and conveniently located. (P.S. You’re in Hawaii—if you are spending a ton of time in your hotel room then something is wrong with … Continue reading
