I Am Not A Scrapbooker And I Never Will Be! part 1by Nicole Humphrey | More from this Blogger 23 Nov 2006 12:45 PM
Creating a scrapbook is important. Not only are you passing down your family history, but you are cleaning at the same time. How? By cleaning those pictures out of the drawers, baskets and boxes that they are stored in - that's how! And there is no time like the present. Hey, get the whole family involved. The kids will have a blast. If your main reason for not scrapbooking, or hating the whole idea is the primary concern of money and time, let me give you a few pointers that will help to ease your mind on the whole concept. I will not turn you into a scrapbooker, I promise. First, you only need a few simple, and inexpensive things to "make a photo album" (because let's not forget you are NOT a scrapbooker and this is NOT a scrapbook we are making!). Besides the hundreds of photographs you probably have, you will also need an album. Sure, you can run out to the store and get a magnetic album, but I don't recommend it. Yes, I know they are cheap, they will save you loads of time and they look great. Except, those awful gummy pages will destroy your photos in only a few years time.
