Finding Scrapbooking Retreatsby Nicole Humphrey | More from this Blogger 16 Apr 2008 09:55 PM Are you interested in attending a scrapbooking retreat? Do the girls you scrapbook long for some time away from home, spending a little girlfriend time together and getting some serious scrapbooking done without interruption? A scrapbooking retreat is perfect for this! But how do you find them? First of all, you can certainly search the Internet. I did and found several, except I feel that word of mouth is definitely a more powerful advertising tool. In addition to finding out someones favorite retreat location, you will be able to ask questions about the specifics of the location. What is around it? What do they provide? Was it clean? Where do we scrap? These questions are all important to keep in mind when you are going to a scrapbooking retreat. There is nothing worse than getting somewhere and having everything be the opposite of what you expected. The only way to be sure is to ask around and ask several people the pro's and con's of each place you are being told about. This doesn't mean you cannot attend a scrapbook retreat that nobody has been to yet. It just means you need to ask lots of questions of the staff instead. These are a list of the most popular scrapbooking retreats I have seen mentioned on various boards and through friends. I have no other information on them, but they are recommended by others who have visited.
