For some kids summer meant taking a vacation somewhere, camping or being involved in summer camp. For some kids they mostly stayed home and hung out doing things kids like to do, such as neighborhood games with the other kids, playing on the playground, going swimming and going on picnics. Collage Fun

The word collage is from the French word “coller”, which means “to glue”. Collage is one of my favorite projects to do with children. Most kids really get into the project once they figure out that there isn’t just one right way to do it. At first they may glue five or six pictures that don’t even touch on the page. Collage Tips for Scrapbookers

I’ve already discussed the art of collage, so here are some useful tips and tricks to consider as you create your collage: Use a non-permanent adhesive to stick down the different elements on the page. This way, if you don’t like the way you placed everything, you can just remove it and place it somewhere else. There are repositionable glues out there that make collage work easier. Don’t use metal right directly on your photographs.
